Coast RTA's Entertainment Trolley Rolls June 5-September 7!

Coast RTA operates a FREE Entertainment Shuttle June 5, 2020 through Labor Day. The Shuttle runs every 30-35 minutes from 9 AM until 12 AM (Midnight) daily. 


All riders should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • If you are not feeling well -Stay at home or seek medical transportation;
  • We highly recommend that all riders use face coverings while onboard Coast RTA;
  • Continue using the rear door of the bus (if available) when boarding and exiting the vehicle;
  • Passengers in wheelchairs and those using mobility devices will still be able to board via the ramp at the front of the bus;
  • Please choose a seat appropriately to achieve social distancing;
  • We have partitioned off seats to help with social distancing and to protect our drivers - DO NOT SIT in a seat that has been taped-off; and,
  • We are making every effort to disinfect surfaces within the vehicle multiple times per day but passengers should wash hands thoroughly after riding. 

The Entertainment Shuttle serves destinations from 3rd Avenue South along Ocean Boulevard to 29th Avenue North and to attractions across from US 17 Bypass between 10th Avenue North/Mr. Joe White Blvd Ext and 21st Avenue North. In 2020, the Entertainment Shuttle will operate from 9 AM until Midnight daily from June 5 through September 7. Points of interests along the Entertainment Shuttle include Broadway at the Beach; Broadway Grand Prix; Family Kingdom Amusement Park; Helicopter Adventures; Hollywood Wax Museum; Myrtle Beach Pelicans; Myrtle Beach Convention Center/Sports Complex; Myrtle Waves; Plyler Park; Ripken Experience; Rockin' Jump; SkyWheel; Splashes Water Park; Zipline at the Pavilion; as well as select dining, shopping and hotels.

"Our hours of service are a benefit for anyone wanting to watch the fireworks, catch a Pelicans game, enjoy the night life or a concert downtown," said Brian Piascik, Coast RTA's General Manager/CEO. "We designed an Entertainment Shuttle route that allows visitors to stay parked at their resorts/hotels and ride to downtown locations. Or, locals can park along the route and ride the Shuttle to the beach, downtown attractions or dining."
