Coast RTA is working hard to expand its services to a city or community near you. If you would like to request a bus route program in your area, please use the Request a Bus Route Program form. Thank you for your assistance.

Our Service

The Coast RTA Fixed Route bus system consists of 15 regularly scheduled routes servicing Horry and Georgetown Counties, including the cities of Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Georgetown, Andrews, Conway and North Myrtle Beach. Our Fixed Route service operates seven days a week, 362 days a year with individual route times varying by season.

Many area attractions from shopping and restaurants to amusements and accommodations are serviced by Coast RTA Fixed Routes. Locals have come to rely on Coast RTA to provide transportation to area employers and services, including all major medical centers and hospitals.

Coast RTA fixed routes service the major hospitals in Horry and Georgetown counties.

Coast RTA buses are climate controlled and regularly maintained to ensure an enjoyable and safe riding experience for all passengers. All buses are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. We offer discounted fares and passes to students, senior citizens, Medicaid card holders, and customers with disabilities. Service animals are permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities on all vehicles.
